The agri business manufactures and markets Urea (Neem Coated), CFG (Customized Fertilizer Grade) and SHP (Soil Health Products). It also markets Seeds, Crop Protection products and Plant Health Products (PHP) as part of the Purak business. The agri business enjoys leadership position in Indo-Gangetic plains due to its strong brand Birla Shaktiman having sharp focus on Customer-Farmers by providing total agri-solutions encompassing entire gamut of agricultural products and services from sowing to harvesting, product portfolio extending from fertilisers to seeds and agro-chemicals enabling it to be the most preferred choice of the farmers.
Indo Gulf Fertilisers (India) is operating a gas based Urea manufacturing fertilizer complex which is one of the most energy-efficient plants world-wide, with almost over 100 Tons per day capacity combined for customised fertiliser plant to produce different grades of customized fertilizer (CFG) and SHP (Soil Health Products). Indo Gulf Fertilisers is the 1st Fertiliser plant in India to register CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) project with UNFCCC.
The business has its manufacturing location at Jagdishpur adjacent to National Highway (NH-56) connecting Lucknow - Varanasi and about 80 km away from Lucknow, capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The facility also houses the Indo Gulf Fertilisers Research Centre, Jagdishpur Industrial Area, Amethi 227817 Uttar Pradesh created in 2013 and is recognized by DSIR.
The agri business is certified on ISO 9001:2015 for quality system, ISO 18001:2007 on occupational health and safety management system, ISO 14001:2015 for environment management system, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for IT security management: Recertification Cycle from June’2018, ISO 50001 :2011 for energy management system.
