Known for being a versatile fashion yarn and 100% natural, Raysil viscose filament yarn is produced by Grasim Fashion Yarn from high-end wood pulp imported from an Aditya Birla company called Domsjo Fabrikar, Sweden. It is comfortable, soft, and quite lustrous. Not only that, it has a smooth texture, soft feel, and it imparts immense fluidity and superior drape.
It is manufactured across two locations with a combined capacity of over 48000 tones/annum. One is the unit at Veraval, Gujarat, India, which is equipped with Pot Spun Yarn (PSY), Continuous Spun Yarn (CSY), and unique proprietary Spool Spun Yarn (SSY) technology. The other unit is at Kalyan, Maharashtra which has CSY and PSY. The collective product range consists of high modulus yarns, special yarns for velvet, engineered yarns, tyre yarns and dull yarns.
Both units are accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 (Environment), OHSAS 18001 (Health and safety), and Oeko Tex certification. The Veraval unit has additional certifications of SA 8000, REACH compliance.
