Aditya Birla Chemicals (Thailand) Limited participated in the 24th India International Seafood Show (IISS) from 25th to 28th Sep 2025. It is one of Asia’s premier platforms for seafood trade and technology. Held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi as part of World Food India 2025, the event drew processors, exporters, suppliers, and policymakers from across the globe.
Our delegation was led by Mr. Sanjeev Rai, Joint President, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service and Planning, who engaged with key stakeholders and highlighted our commitment to the seafood processing industry. The stall witnessed strong and relevant footfall, with visitors including seafood processors, technologists, and government representatives. A notable highlight was the visit of Mr. Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma, Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Steel, Government of India, underscoring the importance of innovations in food processing inputs.
At the centre of our showcase was Pearl – Aditya Birla Chemicals’ flagship functional ingredient for seafood processing. Pearl’s phosphate and non-phosphate blends (Moisture Retention Agents) are designed to improve yield, texture, and shelf life while preserving the natural flavour and nutrition of seafood. They are suitable for fish fillets, shrimp, cephalopods, surimi, and more.
Through live discussions and product demonstrations, we received valuable feedback from existing and potential customers. Many expressed interest in pilot trials and technical collaborations, reaffirming Pearl’s relevance to the industry’s evolving needs.
Our participation at IISS 2025 reflects our focus on customer engagement, innovation, and partnership. By offering solutions such as Pearl, Aditya Birla Chemicals is helping processors achieve consistent quality, better returns, and greater consumer satisfaction, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.
