Safety Conclave - Strengthening Safety, Creating Bonds

Safety is of paramount importance at Aditya Birla Chemicals and its manufacturing operations in all its plant location. With the motto "Safety First" and the goal of achieving zero fatalities and zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI), the company emphasizes health and safety from top leadership to the shop floor and throughout the supply chain. GOAL ZERO is our destination. ABC has life saving rules for key safety risks at work, such as Work at Height, Electrical, Struck by Objects, Driving Safety, Permit to Work, Energy Isolation, Confined Spaces, Material Handling, Bypassing Safety Controls, Hot Work etc.

The CEO has initiated monthly safety meetings with Safety professionals across our 13 manufacturing locations apart from the weekly safety gatherings happening at each unit location to analyse the near miss, machinery faults etc. 2 Safety KRAs has been allocated to each Unit Head’s goals. Trainings are provided to contract workmen, labourers, driver and employees.

To reinforce this commitment, Aditya Birla Chemicals organized its first-ever Safety Conclave, bringing together safety professionals, leaders, and teams from its manufacturing locations of Chemicals, Fashion Yarn, and Insulators divisions. Held at the Novotel Airport Hotel on 6th and 7th July in Hyderabad, the two-day event aimed to deliberate on safety practices, learn from the experts, and foster collaboration to build a safer environment for all.

Safety has always been at the forefront of our functioning at Chemical, Fashion Yarn and Insulator division of Aditya Birla Chemicals, and we are committed to provide a safe working environment for our people across our plants and offices.
