Ajay Mahajan

As CEO, Overseas Chemicals for Aditya Birla Chemicals (Phosphates, Sulphites and Chlor Alkali divisions), Ajay is defining and advancing a strategic roadmap to transform the company's growth & earnings profile. He holds an MBA from Bangkok University and graduated with a B.E. degree in Electronics and a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from M.S. University. In addition, Ajay has attended executive leadership programs at INSEAD, Harvard and Wharton.

Biju Mathew

Biju Mathew has recently joined us as the Chief Supply Chain Officer of Global Chemicals, Fashion Yarn and Insulators Business. Bringing with him a wealth of experience spanning over 26 years in supply chain operations, procurement, and sourcing, with a significant focus on the Chemical sector, Mr. Mathew is entrusted with the crucial responsibility of shaping and implementing our supply chain and procurement strategy in alignment with our business objectives. He joins us from BASF India, and his prior stint was with Clariant Chemicals.

Manoj Kedia

Currently the CFO of Global Chemicals, Fashion Yarn and Insulators, Manoj Kedia has over three decades of experience, starting his career with Aditya Birla Group in 1989. With his expertise, he has played a vital role in driving the corporate finance function of the Group companies and businesses and in acquisitions, restructuring & incubation of new businesses.

Mayank Sharma

Mr. Mayank Sharma is appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aditya Birla Chemicals' Domestic Chlor-Alkali Business.

With over two decades of experience in the chemical industry, Mr. Sharma's journey began with Aditya Birla Group in 1995. His remarkable dedication led to his selection for the prestigious GMT program in 1999 and he joined the Chlor-Alkali Business in 2000. In 2007, he embarked on a new adventure in the Sales Department, starting by leading the South Region and gradually taking the reins of Sales and Marketing for the entire business as CMO. It is a matter of great pride to note that his outstanding contributions earned him the Chairman's Award for Accomplished Leadership in 2022.

Rajesh Balakrishnan

Rajesh Balakrishnan, an accomplished leader, brings with him extensive experience in leading manufacturing operations, R&D, and supply chain. He joins us from Pidilite Industries, where as the CEO of the Industrial Products, he led the launch of multiple new application segments and products.

Shefali Kohli

Ms. Shefali Kohli has recently joined us from Godrej Industries, where she was the Group Head, Strategic Rewards & People Processes, and HR Head for Godrej Fund Management and the Corporate Centre. She has worked with the business leadership teams at Godrej to roll out initiatives pertaining to compensation strategies, Board governance, setting up the HR shared services, driving Diversity & Inclusion amongst many others. Ms. Kohli introduced a continuous listening framework aligned to the values, EVP, competencies, and inclusive ethos for the Godrej Group, in the last six years that she was associated with them.

Ms. Kohli has a post-graduate diploma in Business Management from Mumbai University and a Post-Graduation Diploma in Compensation & Benefits from Singapore Human Resources Institute.
