We have to assume that the COVID-19 is not going away any time soon; hence need to fast acclimatize to new way of healthy living and make it a habit. If we have to ensure our families, friends, relatives and colleagues need to be healthy and safe, the new health and hygiene norms have to be practiced all the time. Along with practicing of physical distancing, high level of hygiene and sanitation standards, we need to have social cohesion, cordiality, concern for others, care for those who are working hard to keep us safe. We need to be disciplined, we need to be positive, we need to be smarter, we need to be mentally prepared for some more surprises & challenges and we need to continuously practice Resilience.
We have operations spanning across 3 countries, 20 manufacturing locations and have over 10000 employees. The impact of the ensuing global pandemic was experienced by us in different ways across different countries and locations. What mattered was Resilience and Agility! Our response to the urgency of the situation, quick turnaround times, fast decision making driven by our motto SAFETY FIRST is helping us steer through the crisis. Our commitment towards creating a culture of 'safe minds' where there is zero compromise towards safety and GOAL ZERO is the only destination has been our focus in this global pandemic.
We strictly adhered to country and local Government guidelines, conducted relevant awareness campaigns and managed plant operations and offices in accordance to what deemed fit from a health and safety standpoint. Work from home, social distancing social distancing, following top 10 rules for preventing spread of Covid-19 was actioned as soon as it was required in a particular location or city or country. This was applicable to all employees, contract staff and other service providers who are a part of our business operations. We developed detailed and robust operating practice as guidelines for high safety, health & hygiene standards at home and work and as precautions and actions in unprecedented situations. Dedicated task force was nominated for strict vigilance and care. We are also regularly conducting mock drills.
Our teams relentlessly worked on serving the nearby communities, villages and people in need focusing on creating awareness about the spread of disease and disinfection and sanitization as we know that the mantra for today is STAY SAFE. KEEP OTHERS SAFE.
We are in it together and would surely emerge triumphant. Together.
