Grasim Industries Limited, a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, ranks amongst the top publicly listed companies in India. Incorporated in 1947, it started as a textiles manufacturer in India. Today, it has evolved into a leading diversified player with leadership presence across many sectors. It is a leading global producer of Cellulosic Fibres, Diversified Chemicals, Fashion Yarn and Fabrics producer in India. Implementing next phase of transformational growth journey, the company has entered paints business under the brand name ‘Birla Opus’. Out of the six plants to be set-up for manufacturing decorative paints across pan India locations, three plants commenced operations in Apr’24. Leveraging the Group synergies, Grasim has launched ‘Birla Pivot’, the B2B online marketplace for building materials. With a strong footprint in the chemicals industry, Aditya Birla Chemicals Thailand (ABCTL) is a leading manufacturer of specialty and bulk chemicals and the second largest manufacturer of sulphites on a global level. The wide array of products, including phosphates, sulphites, and caustic-chlorine, has expanded the company's reach to over 100 countries.
Started in Russelsheim, Germany in 1993, CTP GmbH has grown to become a leading curing agent manufacturer in Europe. CTP AM, started in 2005, is a development and marketing company that serves the electrical & composite industry. Products for CTP-AM are manufactured by CTP, which was acquired by the Aditya Birla Group in 2013. With an excellent application knowledge base in Europe, it has a strong brand image as a supplier of specialty products and solutions provider. The company markets its products under the trademark CeTePox.
ABC USA LLC was formed in the year 2015 as a 100 % subsidiary of ABCTL. ABC USA LLC provides a very unique experience to the customer in American region, while giving the benefit of high reliability of a global supplier and seamlessness of a local player. It is the marketing and servicing arm to promote Epotec® and CTP brand in American region.
